4.00 credits (3.00 lec/1.00 lab) Fall 2008 only In this class you will receive a rigorous introduction to sync sound theory. Advanced camera, directing, lighting, editing, audio and other production techniques and theories are studied. Under the supervision of an experienced filmmaker, students will produce a film from preproduction through digital postproduction and will learn, as well as fill, all the basic responsibilities of the various crew positions. Both digital nonlinear and conventional film editing will be covered. Prerequisites: FILM 1030. Corequisites: FILM 2030.
