1.00-2.00 credits (1.00-2.00 lec)This course systematically examines a current issue (often a problem or target population) in the field of human services that is timely and important. The course will offer a definition of the topic, historical background, current data and research on the topic, and possible solutions and action plans if a problem has been defined. These Human Services elective courses are offered occasionally with varied issues as the focus. Prerequisites: Placement into ENGL 1110 or completion of ENGL 0900 or ESOL 0051.
