3.00 credits (2.00 lec/1.00 lab) This course provides a comprehensive background of information for the person preparing to work in the retail jewelry industry, with emphasis placed on different techniques of retail sales, visual merchandising, and policy and procedure for day-to-day store operations. (Normal visual acuity and color perception are necessary.) Prerequisites: JLRY 1810 or instructor approval; placement into READ 0200 or placement into ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052.
