2.00 credits (2.00 lab) This course covers the basics of bezel stone setting. Students will learn stone fitting, bezel preparation, punch construction, tightening and finishing; practice bezel setting on various mounting styles; and become skilled at identifying different bezel settings, preparing various types of mountings, punch set bezel mountings and identifying various stone shapes. Industry standards will be introduced and be the standard for this course. This course has a lab fee. Prerequisite: JLRY 1500.
