3.00 credits (3.00 lec) This course explores the relationship between how women find their voices and tell their stories and how this process of telling empowers them to move toward actions to save themselves and their communities. Students will study the movement from despair to empowerment through various perspectives such as, Native American, local Minnesotan, Latin American and Norwegian. Fulfills MnTC Goal Areas 6 and 9. Prerequisite: One course from the MnTC Goal Area 1.
