Meets MnTC Goal Area 8. Prerequisite: Instructor approval. This course is the second semester of Intermediate Spanish. Students continue to hone their reading, writing, listening and speaking through a focus on historical, political, cultural and artistic expressions of the Spanish-speaking world. Grammar from Intermediate Spanish is further developed to include the simple and perfect tenses of the indicative and subjunctive moods. Students investigate the development of science and technology on various aspects of the Spanish-speaking world.
