Pre-requisite: RADT1114 and RADT1140. This course will provide the student with the knowledge necessary to perform radiographic procedure relative to the urinary system, the bony thorax, skull, vertebral column and arthology. Emphasis will be on radiographic terms, anatomy, positioning, manipulation of radiographic equipment and accessories, and patient care considerations related to radiography of the urinary system, bony thorax, vertebral column, skull and arthrography. Basic techniques in venipuncture, contrast media types, intravenous medication and emergency response will also be included.
