This course assists the Licensed Practical Nurse with transition into the Associate Degree Nursing Program. The course focuses on promotion of health and prevention of illness based on concepts and practices consistent with the role of the registered nurse. The nursing process is introduced as the foundation for provision of care. Clinical competencies are assessed, developed, and expanded throughout the course. Prerequisites: Admission to the LPN - to - RN Mobility Track; ENG1113; ENG 1123; PSY 1513; EPY 2533; BIO 2514, and BIO 2524. (6,4,6)
