(15 lecture hours 11.5 lab hours, 1.5 credits) Prepares the student in the latest technology and techniques available for code and standards-compliant grounding and bonding systems. Focuses on grounding and bonding requirements as they relate to Article 250 and other articles of the NEC. Covers installation, testing and inspection procedures for ll power systems. Includes rules to minimize the risk of electricity as a source of electric shock, and as an ignition source for fires. Added Fall 2003.
