(30 lecture hours, 90 other hours, 5 credits) Prerequisite: Successful completion of all first year course work. Provides the student with a transition into the role of the practical nurse. Emphasis will be placed on clinical practice, communication, nursing process, ethical/legal issues and leadership skills.
