(45 lecture hours, 3 credits) Prerequisite: MAT 030 ( "C" grade or better) or appropriatemath entrance score Furthers the study of fractions and mixed numbers. Also included are vocabulary, operations and applications of ratio, proportion, percent, area, perimeter, US and metric measures, integers, and an introduction to algebraic expressions and the solution of basic first-degree equations.
