Provides a family centered approach to professional nursing practice of the childbearing family and children across the health continuum. Emphasis is placed on the care of the perinatal client and children from birth through adolescence. The impact of psychosocial and cultural values and practices are explored. Legal and ethical accountability are integrated throughout the course. Added Spring 2007.
