User interaction with databases is accomplished using a "Structured Query Language" or SQL per the industryAN SI-SQL standard. The course presents SQL using Oracle 10g as a vehicle, yet concepts and exercises are solvable using any propriety SQL and it prepares students to take the first Oracle certification exam. Prerequisite: CIS125DB or consent of instructor. Proficiency Needed: Reading, Writing, Math.
