It continues to emphasize the four language proficiencies, listening, speaking, reading, and writing as well as the exploration of Chinese culture. Classroom instruction is supplemented by tutoring and language lab facilities. Prerequisite: CHN101, or 3-4 semesters of high-school level Chinese, or equivalent.
