Topics covered will include the Civil Rights Movement, image and reality in the Kennedy Administration; the assassinations of John Kennedy, Malcom X, Martin Luther King, and Robert F. Kennedy; the Vietnam War, the Anti-war Movement; the emergence of a counterculture, the Women's Movement; and the music, literature, and films of the era. Proficiency Needed: Reading, Writing.
