Credits 4 (2 Lecture - 6 Lab Hrs/Wk) - Sp (Formerly MFG153) This is a continuation course with focus on teaching the student to set up and operate CNC machine tools for milling and turning applications. The student will set up and operate all CNC machines in the shop. This will include the reading and interpreting of CNC code; editing programs; program prove out; as well as DN C communications for downloading/uploading programs. Prerequisite: IMTL 136 or consent of instructor. Proficiency Needed: Reading, Writing, Math.
