Credits 3 (3 Lecture Hrs/Wk) - Sp This course is an introduction to the principles of pharmacology with a comprehensive study of drug action, routes of administration, and indications for use of generic drugs, trade name drugs, and drug classifications. Drugs are studied from a body systems and disease approach. Special attention is paid to the "Top 100 Drugs" prescribed by physicians.Proficiency Needed: Reading, Writing. Open to all students.
