Credits 4 (4 Lecture Hrs/Wk) - Sp A study of vectors, matrices, systems of equations, linear transformations, and determinants in the setting of finite real vector spaces. Students will be introduced to formal proof writing, hence a background in logic is helpful though not required. This course provides the basic linear algebra necessary for the study of multivariable calculus, differential equations and abstract algebra. Prerequisite: MTH252 with a grade of "C" or better.
