Credits 5 (5 Lecture Hrs/Wk) - W This course will introduce the student to therapeutic modalities of respiratory care. Topics will include oxygen therapy, gas storage and delivery systems, humidity and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, artificial airways, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, infection control, medical ethics, and charting. Prerequisite: CH104, RT 111, RT 112, or permission of instructor. A grade of "C" or better is required for RT111 and RT112.Concurrent enrollment in RT 122 is required.
