Credits 5 (5 Lecture Hrs/Wk) - Su/F/W/Sp Emphasizing speaking, listening, reading, and writing proficiency, this course introduces students to the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish speaking countries. Classroom instruction is supplemented by tutoring and language lab facilities. Prerequisite: None. Students who have completed one year or less of high school level Spanish are advised to take SPAN 101 before attempting more advanced Spanish courses. Proficiency Needed: Reading, Writing in English.
