Credits 4 (4 Lecture Hrs/Wk) - Su/F/W/Sp WR 80 focuses on basic written communication skills, language mechanics, grammar, spelling, sentence structure and paragraph development. Considerable attention is given to process, topic sentence, supporting details and correctness. The course also helps students develop analytical skills so they can become critical thinkers, readers, and writers. Prerequisite: Placement in WR 80 is based on College Placement Test scores or instructor referral. Concurrent enrollment in RD 90 is encouraged.
