This course will build upon the knowledge gained on Electrical/Electronics I. The student will continue to build upon the basic fundamentals and principles of automotive electrical and progress to troubleshooting and analysis. Major subjects covered are electrical system failures, troubleshooting techniques, chassis electrical, lighting, specialized electronic circuits, electrical components, and power accessories. Students completing this curriculum will have been given the opportunity to gain the technical skills required to become a certified automotive electrical systems specialist. Prerequisite: AST 1103 Electrical/Electronic Systems I. Corequisite: AST 1202 Auto Lab III. Spring.
