Includes study of local, state, and federal regulations for child care facilities, guidelines for conducting a community needs assessment, location of child care facility, components of the facility design, facility space arrangements, storage needs, surfaces and materials for indoor facilities, and listening techniques useful in finding, applying for, and getting a job. It includes an introduction to self-improvement and non-verbal communications. Required for CDA, Owner/Director, and Associate Degree Options. Fall.
