This course includes the following topics: properties of numbers; fundamental operations with algebraic expressions; polynomials; systems of equations; functions; graphs; solutions of linear inequalities; and linear and quadratic equations. Pre-requisites: A "C" or better in Beginning Algebra, or an ACT score of 19, or a COMPASS score of 36 or higher in Algebra within the preceding three years. Diagnostics are required for enrolling in Intermediate Algebra. Note: OFAD1053 Business Math with Calculators is not applicable as pre-requisite for this course. Credit earned is not applicable for the Associate of Arts or the Associate of Science degrees. Fall, Spring, and Summer.
