This course is a conti nuati on of CH214. The preparati on and reacti ons of functi onal groups and multi -step synthesis are the topics for the semester. Concurrent enrollment in CH 224L (laboratory) is required. This is a four credit hour course. Prerequisite: CH 214 NOTE: The following courses are taught through the Correcti ons Academy. These courses will substi tute for the criminal justi ce courses (CJ) as indicated when applying for the Associate of Arts or Associates of Applied Science degrees. However, the criminal justi ce courses (CJ) will not substi tute for the correcti ons academy courses (CA), since the CA courses have additi onal components not in the CJ courses to meet the requirements for licensure by the state of New Mexico as a correcti onal offi cer.
