This course explores the hair analysis procedures and related chemical acti ons involved in temporary, semi-permanent, and permanent color applicati ons. Applicati ons include bleaching, ti nti ng, toning, frosti ng, special eff ects, and problems specifi c to the client. The student will consult with the client to make recommendati ons, perform recordkeeping, and practi ce safe methods. This is a three credit hour class. Prerequisites: Completi on of Semester I and II of the Cosmetology Certi fi cate program with a grade of "C" or bett er in each class.
