Advanced site layout and the use of laser instruments to layout foundati on lines and determine elevati ons are covered. Trade mathemati cs, including geometry and right-angle trigonometry are needed. Installati on and fi nishing of commercial roofi ng materials, advanced fl oor systems, advanced wall systems, curtain walls, advanced stair systems and fi re-rated commercial constructi on are discussed. Light equipment and safety procedures for them are covered. An introducti on to welding and the materials and practi ces used in the assembly of metal buildings are included in this segment. Basic skills for supervising personnel as well as the principles of project planning, scheduling, esti mati ng, and management are included. This is a four credit hour course. Prerequisite: CT 134C
