This course presents various types of exterior siding, gutt ers, downspouts, and roof vents along with roofi ng materials, safety practi ces, and applicati on methods. Thermal and moisture protecti on and installati on of insulati ng materials in walls, fl oors, and atti cs is discussed. The procedure for laying out and installing stairs and stringers along with metal framing for interior walls, exterior non-bearing walls, and parti ti ons is illustrated. Door installati on and related hardware is incorporated. Suspended ceilings and window, door, fl oor, and ceiling trim are included. The fi nal focus of the interior fi nish is cabinet and countertop selecti on and installati on. This is a four credit hour course. Prerequisites: CT 124C
