This course covers informati on the mason will need to work with residenti al plans and constructi on drawings. Techniques will be included for constructi ng small structure foundati ons, steps, pati os, decks, chimneys, and fi replaces. The use of grout and other types of reinforcement as well as the various types of metal components and accessories will also be included. Advanced laying techniques for constructi on of walls, arches, and other structures will be incorporated as well as techniques for moisture control, elevated work, and constructi on inspecti on and quality control. This is a four credit hour course. Prerequisites: CT 113M or permission of instructor
