This course provides instructi on on how to implement and administer a company safety program. It is designed for fi eld managers, safety directors, safety committ ees, owner safety representati ves and insurance/loss control representati ves. The course provides an introducti on to safety technology, hazard recogniti on, evaluati on, and control. It presents the factors involved in performance analysis and assessment as well as the roles and responsibiliti es of the safety technician. Accident investi gati on and recordkeeping are presented and OSHA inspecti on procedures for site inspecti ons are covered. Data tracking and trending techniques are presented along with environmental awareness. This is a one credit hour course.
