This course will explain the organizati on, functi ons, and jurisdicti on of juvenile agencies. Discussion includes the juvenile court and justi ce system, historical development of the concept of delinquency, the special status of juveniles under the law, and special att enti on to juvenile justi ce procedural law under the Children's Code and Rules of Procedure. This is a three credit hour course.
