This course provides students with a foundati on in basic Oracle architecture, storage structure and database administrati ve tasks. Students will learn to create and modify database tables, create data dicti onary views, and use SQL queries to insert, update, delete, and view data. The course will also introduce Forms Builder to create custom forms and database reports. The techniques demonstrated in the class are essenti al for creati ng the initi al database, as well as, confi guring the storage space tables, users, and security for a database. This is a three credit hour course.
