This course will cover basic shooti ng principles used by correcti onal offi cer and will include instructi on in nomenclature, handling, loading and fi ring of the service revolver, rifl e, shotgun, and 37 mm gas gun. Lawful use of chemical agents including identi fi cati on, coding, delivery and decontaminati on procedures will be covered. This is a three credit hour course.
