This course covers theory, preparati on, procedures, and practi ce related to the chemical rearranging (including perms) of hair. Included are theory related to anatomy and physiology of hair as well as common products, materials, and implements. Students will consult with clients to analyze hair, perform the chemical procedure, and maintain proper recordkeeping while following approved safety measures. This is a six credit hour course. Prerequisites: Completi on of Semester I and II of the Cosmetology Certi fi cate program with a grade of "C" or bett er in each class.
