This course provides a working knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Transportati on Regulati ons contained in Title 49, CFR parts 100-178. The emphasis of the course is on defi niti on of hazard classes using the hazardous materials table, marking, labeling, placarding, shipping papers, hazardous substance, and waste transportati on. Rules and rule changes will be reviewed. This is a three credit hour course.
