This course is designed to teach students how to operate a microcomputer. Students will be taught how to perform such functi ons as "booti ng the system," formatti ng disks, and copying fi les within the windows environment. Students will also be taught basic computer terminology and the fundamentals of word processing, spreadsheets, database, and PowerPoint uti lizing the Microsoft Offi ce Suite soft ware. This is a three credit hour course.
