This course is an element of the masonry emphasis area and provides an introducti on to concrete constructi on and fi nishing including the methods and procedures used in fi nishing, terms of the trade, tools and equipment used, and the properti es of concrete. It provides informati on on OSHA requirements, work site safety, use of chemicals, use of hand and power tools, and maintenance requirements. It also provides hands-on practi ce for fi nishing slabs. This is a two credit hour course. Prerequisite: CT 112
