This course introduces the current federal laws that regulate the assessment, use, handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. This course also gives the student an understanding of public and private nuisances and available remedies. It includes: Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA, Toxic Substance Control Act, Federal Pesti cide Act, and OSHA. This is a three credit hour course.
