Intermediate Spanish I is a conti nuati on of SP 124. Instructi onal techniques are used to encourage conversati on, to develop vocabulary, and to increase comprehension. This course is taught in Spanish and is reserved for those who have mastered the indicati ve and are ready to cover the subjuncti ve forms of verbs. Emphasis is on grammar, oral expression, and listening comprehension. This course contains a lecture and lab component. This is a four credit hour course. Prerequisite: SP 124
