This course will provide students with the basic knowledge of the theory and applicati on of resistance temperature sensors. The student will be introduced to the basic functi ons of temperature detectors, the basic theory of thermocouple operati on, the identi fi cati on of logic circuits, and environmental concerns that can aff ect the accuracy of temperature detecti on instrumentati on. This is a two credit hour course. (This does not count as a lab science course.)
