This course is an introducti on to and appreciati on of oral interpretati on of literature and includes the technical preparati on and presentati on of poetry, prose, storytelling, and dramati c reading based upon the criti cal and creati ve analysis of each. Emphasis is placed upon practi ce in phrasing, vocal quality, ti me, force, pitch, and bodily responses. This is a three credit hour course.
