This is a physical educati on acti vity course primarily designed to prepare, moti vate, and engage students in various levels including low to high impact aerobic exercises using the step. Anaerobic, fl exibility, and stretching acti viti es will also be included. Step Aerobics is structured to increase cardiovascular fi tness, build muscular strength and endurance through safe and specifi c body conditi oning movements. Parti cipants will be encouraged to develop individual health improvement strategies and will be taught the skills to reach personal fi tness goals. This is a one credit hour course.
