This course encompasses the socio-cultural, environmental, spiritual, and religious infl uences on the person and the family. This course also introduces the student to the concept of family and provides an overview of the theories of human development. Focus is on family development and relati onships, physiologic concepts, psychological concepts, and nursing implicati ons from concepti on to death. Enrollment is restricted to Allied Health students only. This is a three credit hour course. Prerequisite: PS 113
