This course is a study of advanced techniques for interventi on in crisis situati ons, including skills of assessment, acti ve listening, focused explorati on, acti on planning, treatment, and terminati on of treatment planning; reviews major situati ons that create crisis. Emphasis will be given to the introducti on of the constructs of major sociological situati ons that cause crisis and how interventi on practi ce is applied. This is a three credit hour course.
