This course includes a study of industrial blueprints with an emphasis placed on terminology, symbols, graphic descripti on, and welding processes, including systems of measurement and industry standards. Identi fy, explain and interpret weld symbols, identi fy structure shapes, demonstrate the proper use of measuring devices, read and interpret blueprints, read welding detail drawings, and calculate dimensions and materials. This is a three credit hour course. Prerequisite: WE 114
