This course will provide students with the basic principles of thermodynamic properti es, temperature pressure, change of phase, fi rst and second law of thermodynamics, compression processes, convecti on and radiant heat transfer, conti nuity equati on, laminar and turbulent fl ow, Bernoulli's equati on, centrifugal pumps and hydraulics as uti lized by technicians. This is a three credit hour course. (This does not count as a lab science course.)
