In this course students will be introduced to contaminati on control and monitoring in a radiological work setti ng. This course covers contaminati on control, airborne sampling, respiratory protecti on, radioacti ve source control, environmental monitoring, access control, work area setup, and radiological work coverage. The proper handling of radioacti ve materials is a key element of the course. This is a four credit hour course. Prerequisites: RW 113, and RW 213 or consent of instructor
