Builds upon the concepts introduced in Medical Terminology providing greater understanding of how to properly use and apply medical terminology in various health fields. Emphasis will be on terminology used in medical records and procedures, medical coding, and medical transcription. Current medical practice, technological changes in medicine, creating medical documents, and pharmacology will also be covered. Prerequisites: OEHO 120 or NURS 150 or BOT 150.
