This course will cover refrigerant chemistry; refrigerant oils/applications; ozone depletion; Montreal protocol; legislation and regulation; recovery, recycle and reclaim; safe handling/transport of refrigerants; conservation and service testing; waste oil; high and low pressure chillers. The course intent is to provide training to exceed Environmental Protection Agency certification testing requirements. It is not the intent of this course to cover refrigeration and air conditioning fundamentals of high pressure or low pressure systems.
