Covers computer concepts and internet skills and use a software suite which includes word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to demonstrate skills required for computer literacy. Prerequisite is high school keyboarding. Lecture 3 hours per week. NOTE: Students will not receive credit if they have previously taken IST 117 or BUS 226. This course utilizes Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
